Right of Withdrawal / Right of Cancellation

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

Withdrawal Period for Physical Goods

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

If you have ordered several goods as part of a single order and these are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, takes possession of the last item delivered.

Withdrawal Period for Digital Travel Guides

Our digital travel guides are digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium. For these contracts, the withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which the contract is concluded.

The right of withdrawal expires before the end of this period as soon as we have begun providing the digital travel guide, provided that you have expressly consented in advance to performance of the contract beginning before the end of the withdrawal period and have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

A further requirement is that you have been provided with confirmation of the concluded contract, including your consent to the early commencement of performance and your acknowledgement of the loss of your right of withdrawal, on a durable medium, for example by email or as a PDF.

If these requirements are not met, the statutory right of withdrawal remains in effect.

Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement, for example by email or letter.

You may use the model withdrawal form provided below for this purpose. However, use of this form is not mandatory.

You may also exercise your right of withdrawal online using our “Withdraw from contract” function.
If you use this online function, we will immediately send you an acknowledgement of receipt by email containing information about the content of your withdrawal declaration as well as the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs. This does not include any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us.

The reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive your declaration of withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment for this reimbursement as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

In the case of withdrawal relating to physical goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

Return of Physical Goods

You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your withdrawal from this contract to the following address:

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

Compensation for Loss in Value of Physical Goods

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

In particular, there is no right of withdrawal for goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised, as well as for sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been removed after delivery.

For digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, in particular our digital travel guides, the right of withdrawal expires early if we have begun providing the content before the end of the withdrawal period after you expressly consented to the early commencement of performance and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and you have been provided with the legally required contract confirmation on a durable medium.
